My daughter has Left Microphthalmia/PHPV (Blind)

The other day she had her 2nd Examination under anesthetic and the PO noticed her nerve in her supposedly healthy right eye was "DULL". I am very worried this may be something serious, if not now but later down the track. *She seems to be seeing fine thus far with her vision in that eye.

He said he believed it would be in connection with her brain condition and was not overly concerned at this stage about it.

Does anyone know what a nerve being dull may mean?

I have Rang PO about dull nerve and he said that as she has Hydrocephalus aswell, that would have put pressure on her optic nerve due to the fluid build-up and damaged her optic nerve. But, he said she seems to be seeing okay at this stage and they could do further tests to confirm a bit more, but I thought I would leave it for now, as she does seem to see quite well. He just said they need to monitor it cos of her brain condition at any time could put more pressure on it again, if shunt malfunctions etc.
