Fantastic ICAN conference!

Thank you to all who attended the recent ICAN conference in Florida. It was our first conference and we are so glad we attended! For those that did not attend, we have a son, Mason, with bilat micro that is 13 months. We've had many stresses and many reliefs over the past year. We never thought we'd be where we are today. The diagnosis was devastating but we've learned that you can come through it stronger than you ever knew possible. Thanks to ALL the people at the conference that made us feel welcome into the ICAN family. All the words of advice and just knowing we aren't alone is such a relief. It was so helpful to openly talk to others facing the same issues. One thing we learned for sure is how lucky we are, as parents, to have the blessings of our special children. Thanks again to all the organizers and we look forward to meeting everyone again!

I agree! I was so happy to be there with everyone in St. Augustine. I learned so much and met all you wonderful people whom I can relate to through my daughter. I hope to keep ICAN going strong and offer any help I can be! It was so nice to meet all of you and I can't wait til the next conference!

April, thank you for your heartfelt post. *This was our 4th ican conference and we have vowed to never missed it because of the reasons you just mentioned.

We are part of a very special club and I, too, am very grateful for ican, it's members and it's organizers.

BTW, I love that we can all chat here. *I hope you guys will check back often.
