I am currently fighting with my insurance provider. :'( :'(

They cannot understand why I want to see a board certified ocularist. The in network provider is not board certified and isn't even a member of the The American Society of Ocularists. To my knowledge he has no creditials. His associate, however, is an optomotrist. Which to quote the provider is "above and beyond an ocularist."

Any suggestions on how I can get them to understand what we need?????

We had this same issue and had to file a complaint with our State's Insurance Commission. After our complaint, we were told it was all a misunderstanding and we have the board certified ocularist of our choice!
