Hi, I have a 10 month old son with left anophthalmia. He also has additional craniofacial anomalies. I am trying to find someone in our area with similiar issues. We live in south Louisiana.

I do not live in Louisiana (in fact I live clear across the country from you!) but I just wanted to welcome you to the group. I have a daughter with bilateral anopthalmia.

Are you planning on attending the conference in Florida next month?

Shelia,

Thank you for the warm welcome to the group. I had already read about the upcoming conference. I really wish that we could go but it's just not possible. We have 2 other kids who are 7 and 3. My daughter will be in school. Also, my husband can't take off of work. We have to bring Rick, our baby to Dallas (8 hours away) for surgery, doctor's appointments, etc quite often and he has to take off of work every time we go.

Maybe next year.

Hi. I know that this is being sent late but we live in Alabama so we may be some of the closest people to you. My son Danny is 11 and has Microphthalmia in his left eye. I hope you find this post and contact me.
