Default 4month baby with microphalmia from china

Hi everyone .
I am from china 。 I have a 4 month Daughter wjith microphalmia and cataracts 。
We have gone to the hospital few times .but the doctor said it too yound for cataracts surgery, and there are not good treatment to recover some view for my baby.

We do not want to give up . My daughter can see the lights and some colorfull
toys. I think maybe some doctor can make her see more .

I found this is a good forum.
Maybe some parents can give me some medical information .
I would like to know where is the best place to take my child so we will have the best treatment that can have and the best result for his her?

Hi Cindy
All I can tell you is that our ophthalmologist in Sydney operated on my 4 week old daughter with micro eye and cataract and glaucoma. She does not have any vision in that eye but the surgery stopped her pain. I just wanted to let you know that your daughter may not be considered too young for the surgery elsewhere. Good luck getting further information.
